Explore Cyprus

Cyprus is a holiday island for most of the year. Sunny days, a warm sea and good food make it easy to combine radio with a real holiday – for you and for anyone travelling with you.
The beach is about 15 minutes’ drive from the shack, with sun loungers and restaurants along the coast. Even at the end of September the temperature is often around 30 °C and the sea is warm enough for a swim.
Closer to home, the nearest village is a short walk away and has two traditional tavernas – just the place to relax after a long contest weekend.
Limassol and Paphos are both a 30–40 minute drive away, with marinas, old towns, museums and plenty of restaurants. The island is full of history to explore, and legend has it that Aphrodite, the goddess of love, was born from the sea foam near Paphos.
For the more active, the coast offers swimming, boat trips, sailing, windsurfing and diving, including some well-known wreck dives.
